I can't wait for spring to get here! I mean the cozy warmth of being in the house all winter was nice, but I'm over it and ready for sunshine, bird's chirping, and getting out to see some wildlife. Last year, while up at Glacier with my family, I got to see this big guy and I really hope that I have a few more chances this year while I have my good camera in hand.
I'm also really excited for the National Bison Range to open back up. Its a bit of a drive for me but its totally worth it. They usually open in May and have tons and tons of baby animals running around. They best part is that its an open range with no man-made intrusions destroying the natural beauty. The drive around the loop is about two hours long on a single lane one way dirt road. You can go as slow as you want, stopping when ever you want (as long as you stay in your vehicle). I have been going to the Bison Range for the last 4 years and its truly one of my favorite places to just spend the day.
OOO and don't forget Brenen's Wave in Missoula!! Man-o-man I could spend my entire spring and summer over there photographing the kayakers. I will be the first one to admit that I would never be brave enough to the one doing the kayaking, but heck yes I will photograph them all day long!
The point is that I'm anxious for spring to be sprung.
